连读与弱读 (Liaison and Reduction)
概述
英语语音的两大核心现象,是听力理解的主要障碍,也是口语流利的关键。
一、连读 (Liaison)
定义
一个单词的尾音与下一个单词的首音自然连接,形成连贯的语流。
连读规则
1. 辅音 + 元音 (最常见)
前词尾音是辅音,后词首音是元音,两者连读。
pick up → pi**cku**p
take off → ta**keo**ff
turn on → tur**no**n
not at all → no**ta**tall
Thank you → Than**kyo**u
2. 元音 + 元音
前词尾音是元音,后词首音是元音,中间加/w/或/j/音。
加/w/音(圆唇元音后):
go out → go**w**out
too often → too**w**often
加/j/音(展唇元音后):
I am → I**y**am
she is → she**y**is
try it → try**y**it
3. 辅音 + 辅音 (音的同化)
相邻辅音发生变化。
d + j = dʒ (音变)
Did you? → Di**dʒ**you?
Would you? → Woul**dʒ**ou?
t + j = tʃ (音变)
Don't you? → Don**tʃ**ou?
Can't you? → Can**tʃ**ou?
s + j = ʃ (音变)
Bless you! → Ble**ʃ**you!
Miss you! → Mi**ʃ**you!
4. r连读
前词尾有r音,后词首是元音,r音与元音连读。

二、弱读 (Reduction)
定义
非重读单词中的元音变为弱元音/ə/或/ɪ/,使整个单词发音变弱。

四、t音的浊化与省略
t音浊化(介于d和t之间)
butter → /ˈbʌɾər/ (t发成类似d的音)
water → /ˈwɔːɾər/
better → /ˈbeɾər/
t音省略
在两个辅音之间,t常被省略。
next day → /neks deɪ/ (t省略)
